Honor Team Member Spotlight: Brad Laackman

Brad boasts the longest relationship with Honor Construction because, well, he created it! Brad is Honor’s CEO and fearless leader. His favorite part of his job is working with the team and the clients. He loves his job and his role, and it shows in everything he does. Brad graduated with a Construction Management degree from Ferris State University and a Masters of Business from Northwood University after serving in the Navy.

If you’re interested in the construction industry, Brad recommends one key characteristic: tenacity. He says “you need to have the service level of a bartender, resolve of a firefighter, and critical thinking of a nurse.”

Brad’s coffee preference is not something he takes lightly. He sums it up with this Turkish proverb: “Coffee should be black as hell, strong as death, and sweet as love.”
