THE OPPORTUNITY
The Compass Insurance project involved the renovation of an existing building, located on Ann Street and alongside the Grand River. The risk management agency purchased the building to accommodate its growing team. Three construction firms were invited to bid on the project. Honor Construction thought creatively about the space - and the budget - to help win the bid.

MAKING IT HAPPEN
Honor Construction worked closely with Maxam Architecture and Compass Insurance to imagine and build a space that met all requirements within a strict budget. Some existing materials were reused to help save costs. And others were donated to Habitat for Humanity. The renovation transformed a raw space into a premier office facility. The building now features collaborative work spaces, a clean and contemporary reception area, and a full kitchen. It also includes several premium offices and a state-of-the-art conference room.
